Japanese Drummer Wows Doha Audience

Acclaimed Japanese Taiko drummer Eitetsu Hayashi performed last night at Katara Drama Theatre. His performance was so captivating that the audience responded with a two-minute standing ovation. He will give a concert tonight also at 8. The performances are hosted by the Japanese embassy and the Japan Foundation in association with Katara Cultural Village as part of the Qatar-Japan 2012 celebrations marking 40 years of bilateral relations.
